The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons with disabilities by:
- Promoting quality rehabilitation counseling services to persons with disabilities through the certification of rehabilitation counselors.
- Providing leadership in advocating for the rehabilitation counseling profession.
Be sure to look for the CRC or CCRC designation when working within the rehabilitation counseling community. In fact, use the “Locate a CRC” directory search feature on this site to find a CRC/CCRC in your desired area.

Comments Sought on DSM-5 Update
The American Psychiatric Association is seeking comments on preliminary draft revisions to the current diagnostic criteria for psychiatric diagnoses in preparation for release of the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (DSM-5), that will go into publication in May 2013. Closing date for comments is April 20, 2010.
