The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is committed to advocating on behalf of the Rehabilitation Counseling profession, engaging on national, state, and local levels with legislators, regulators, educators, and practitioners both directly and through partnerships with other key associations and organizations.Current CRCC advocacy initiatives are focused on:
- Increasing Awareness, Understanding, and Appreciation of the Rehabilitation Counseling Profession
- Advancing State Licensure and Educational Standards for Rehabilitation Counseling
- Leveraging Key Partnerships to Increase Access for Rehabilitation Counselors
CRCC has compiled a grassroots document, CRCC and CORE: The Foundation for Effective Rehabilitation Counseling, typically provided to legislators and regulators regarding rehabilitation counseling, CRCC Certification, and CORE Accreditation.
