CRC Certification for Your Students
The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification offers several ways for students to attain their CRC credential.RCE Programs – Immediate Eligibility
Graduates of CORE-accredited Rehabilitation Counselor Education (RCE) Programs are immediately eligible to earn the CRC credential by sitting for the CRC Exam. Students in CORE-accredited RCE Programs can apply for certification typically in their last semester of the program.CRC Exam as a Comprehensive Exam
If the RCE Program has opted to use the CRC Exam as the program’s comprehensive exam, students enjoy the added benefit of using one examination to help them achieve both their master’s degree and their professional credential. They may also have another added benefit if they pursue licensure during their career in a state that recognizes the CRC Exam in lieu of another examination for counselor licensure.Go to CRC Exam as a Comprehensive Exam
