RCE Program Measurement

Measuring Your Program Using Student/Graduate Performance on the CRC Exam

Rehabilitation Counselor Education (RCE) Programs are often required to provide information regarding the program’s effectiveness for the university’s evaluation or for evaluation by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) for initial accreditation or re-accreditation.

CORE-accredited RCE Programs may obtain Outcome Data Reports from CRCC that provide information in the aggregate about student and graduate pass/fail status on the CRC exam as compared to the entire population of test takers. Such reports also provide student and graduate performance data on the twelve domain areas of the exam broken down into both the counseling and rehabilitation/disability sections of the exam.

Outcome Data Reports can be generated for up to five years prior to the request, provided the number of examinees from the specific program is no less than ten. Results are provided per exam administration where sufficient quantities of examinees exist so as to protect the confidentiality of the examinees.

To obtain an Outcome Data Report:

  • Print and complete an Outcome Data Request Form detailing the number of year’s worth of data requested (up to five years)
  • Include payment of report generation fee:
$ 50.00 standard processing time (report mailed within 14 days of request form receipt)
$100.00 expedited request (report mailed within 7 days of request form receipt)
  • Mail completed form with payment to:
