CRCC actively works to advance the interests of the rehabilitation counseling community by advocating for the recognition of rehabilitation counselors in state laws and regulations governing the licensure requirements for professional counselors.

States that currently recognize the CRC Exam (CRCE) by rule, regulation, or department policy are noted as such in bold text under their state name below. For those individuals seeking licensure in all other states, please double-check directly with your state as some states may consider recognition of the CRCE on a case-by-case basis.
