Dr. Eileen Burker is the director of the master’s degree program in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. She is a full professor in the Department of Allied Health Sciences and an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry. In addition, Dr. Burker is the clinical psychologist for the UNC heart transplant, lung transplant and ventricular assist device (VAD) programs. Prior to her tenure at UNC, Dr. Burker was a rehabilitation counselor and vocational evaluator at the Savannah Pain Control Center.
