Cayte earned her doctorate in Rehabilitation Psychology and master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She currently serves as a researcher and project director in the Department of Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education (RPSE) at UW-Madison. Dr. Anderson previously served in key leadership roles with the University of Wisconsin-Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute (SVRI) as Executive Director (2014-2017) and Associate Director (2011-2014). She has been working in the field of rehabilitation counseling as a practitioner, administrator, educator, and researcher for over 20 years and serves as principal investigator, co-principal investigator, or researcher on multiple federally funded research demonstration and national technical assistance center grants. She actively serves on editorial review boards, national membership boards, and teaches graduate level rehabilitation counseling courses. Dr. Anderson enjoys identifying, implementing, and studying the use of promising and evidence-based practices in rehabilitation counseling and is committed to improving employment, economic, and quality of life outcomes of individuals with disabilities.
