CRC Exam Schedule
The CRC Exam consists of 175 multiple-choice questions administered during an allotted 3½ hours within an 8-day testing window.
Candidates should set aside four hours, which includes time for check-in, instructions, and a tutorial on the computer to become familiar with the computer system.
The CRC Exam is administered three times a year. Upcoming test dates and application deadlines are:
- March 4-12, 2016 Exams
- A complete application must be submitted and all fees must be paid by the October 15, 2015 deadline.
- July 8-16, 2016 Exams
- A complete application must be submitted and all fees must be paid by the February 16, 2016 deadline.
- October 7-15, 2016 Exams
- A complete application must be submitted and all fees must be paid by the May 16, 2016 deadline.
CRC Exam results are provided to candidates at the test site following completion of the exam. Examinees will receive a score report indicating a pass or fail status. Those who do not pass will receive a score report including diagnostic information that can be used for further study.
Exam results packets are mailed via U.S. Postal Service approximately four weeks after the last date in the testing window. Please note that examination results cannot be released over the phone or by electronic communication.
