COGNITIVE THERAPIST

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Neuro Transitional Center in search for a Cognitive-Functional Therapist
This is a unique opportunity to serve individuals with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury in the brand new 9-bed Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation facility located on the Baylor University Medical Center Campus.  The therapist will function as a primary therapist on a transdisciplinary rehabilitation team including physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, case management, and neuro rehab coaches. This role involves creating and delivering cognitive/functional treatment across three environments of care including a home like setting, clinic setting and community.

VOCATIONAL EXPERT

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Interview, evaluate and assess an individual’s employability in the workforce.  This includes administering tests such as aptitude, interest and achievement, and completing a transferable skills analysis. Gather vocational and labor market research. Write a comprehensive report summarizing your results. Provide testimony at court hearings as required. Manage your own calendar and schedule appointments with individuals and translators as needed.

EDUCATION
MA or MS in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related Masters level field.  CRC required.  Additional Certifications/licenses are a plus.

EXPERIENCE
Strong communication and report writing skills a must.

ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR REHABILITATION COUNSELING

The Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Research seeks a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty member for the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling/Rehabilitation Counseling program within its Counseling Division, beginning August 17, 2020.

Serve as the Director of the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling Program, teach graduate courses, maintain a significant program of scholarly research, research publications, pursue external funding for research, mentor students, supervise research of graduate students, chair and serve on doctoral committees, and participate in national professional organizations and university and college committees.

OBVS INDEPENDENT EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST

VOCATIONAL EVALUATOR

We are seeking to add a vocational evaluator to our team to perform evaluations including testing individuals and developing return-to-work plans for those that have sustained work-related injuries.

Our ideal candidate must be a CRC but I will consider an intern in their final semester of studies to officially join or team after passing the CRC national certification exam.

We serve the entire state of Oklahoma so some compensated travel will be required.
