 VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION COUNSELOR

IAM Corporation for Re-Employment and Safety Training, (CREST) is seeking an experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) for a unique opportunity.

CREST is a non-profit organization providing direct employer services to employees of The Boeing Company in Washington State (Puget Sound area).
Our primary focus is delivering quality vocational rehabilitation services during Early Intervention. Our team of VRCs work closely with local union representatives, disability management teams, medical clinics/providers, accommodation services personnel, internal workers’ compensation representatives, and insurance company staff, to serve individuals impacted by an occupational injury/illness or other medical conditions. Our core services consist of providing Job Analyses of existing work assignments, conducting ergonomics evaluations, assisting with identification/provision of reasonable accommodations, as well as case management activities, attending various meetings, and counseling/consulting on relevant topics. Our regular work schedules are flexed as necessary, to attend meetings during irregular shifts (come in early for overnight shift, and/or stay late swing shift).

Requirements:

• Successful applicants should live within the Puget Sound area, of WA State (or be willing to relocate).
• Excellent organizational, communication (written & oral), and presentation skills.
• Must possess a CRC, CDMS, or ABVE certification.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain status as an approved Vocational Rehabilitation provider, with WA State Department of Labor & Industries.
• Must be able to work in a team environment, and deal others effectively and professionally under pressure.
• Must be dependable and able to maintain a good attendance track record.
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task and prioritize, strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows 10, Office 2013 or greater (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and a wide variety of Internet applications.
• Recent experience (3+ years) providing detailed Job Analyses, and/or workplace accommodations under the ADA strongly preferred.

REHABILITATION CONSULTANT

Occupational Assessment Services, Inc., an employability and life care planning legal consulting firm in New Jersey providing services throughout the United States, is seeking an Associate to assist in evaluations of severely disabled persons and to learn the skills necessary to be a Vocational Expert/Life Care Planner and testify in court.

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, be or will be CRC eligible, and have experience with testing and placing physically disabled persons.  Must be well motivated, organized, a self-starter, and computer literate.  Social Security Vocational Expert Experience is a plus.  This is a high pressure, stressful, and extremely challenging position.  Experienced vocational experts will also be considered. This is NOT a 9-5 job.  Travel is required.

REHABILITATION SPECIALIST

The Rehabilitation Specialist acts in a supervisory capacity overseeing rehabilitation services provided at multiple Goodwill Centers.  Coordinates all program functions, including staff management, client/caseload assignments, chart and documentation reviews, and provides training for rehabilitation counselors. REQUIRED: 
BA/BS degree in social work, psychology, human services or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.

VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION COUNSELOR (3 Vacancies)

We are recruiting to fill three Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor vacancies in our Farmington, Las Vegas, and Albuquerque New Mexico offices. The Farmington position serves Northern/Northwestern New Mexico, the Las Vegas position serves Santa Fe and Northeastern New Mexico, and the Albuquerque position serves parts of the extended Albuquerque metro area.

 The Farmington and Las Vegas positions serve both adults and transition students, while the Albuquerque position serves adults. Caseloads generally consists of 50-65 cases.

QUALIFIED REHABILITATION CONSULTANT/INTERN

Private MN vocational rehabilitation firm hiring a vocational rehab counselor.
