A. Lynne Deese

Lynne earned her master’s degree in special/correction education and certificates in assistive technology and vocational evaluation. Currently serving as the media and training coordinator, she manages all social media and training efforts in the North Carolina Assistive Technology Program in Raleigh, North Carolina. Lynne oversees online training, video demonstrations, documentary film production, website development, and resource management. She has also served as an assistive technologist providing consultative, training, and technical assistance for instructors, agencies, businesses, families, and nonprofit organizations supporting persons with disabilities.

With over 18 years of experience in and promotion of assistive technology, Lynne has been recognized by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, which presented her with the Vocational Rehabilitation Superstar Employee Recognition Award for Creativity and the Vocational Rehabilitation All-Star Employee Recognition Award for Creativity.
