Roy Del Valle is the District Manager of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS), Marquette, MI, District Office. Dr. Del Valle’s professional experience includes provision of vocational rehabilitation services in private, nonprofit, and state-federal programs. He possesses over 20 years of direct service provision to individuals with disabilities including deafness/hearing disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, and intellectual disabilities. Dr. Del Valle has taught the classes Disability in a Diverse Society, Professional Issues in Rehabilitation Counseling, and Job Placement Strategies for Individuals with Disabilities. He has presented at multiple state and national conferences and has co-authored peer reviewed scholarly articles and a monograph on multiple case studies on effective vocational rehabilitation service delivery practices as part of the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Effective Vocational Rehabilitation Service Delivery Practices (RRTC-EBP-VR).
