Dr. Yolanda Edwards is the Program Coordinator and Department Chair of the Rehabilitation Counseling Department at Winston Salem State University. Previously, she served as a faculty member at the University of Maryland and the University of South Carolina, School of Medicine. Dr. Edwards has been awarded eight RSA grants; her research has included work on the areas of job placement, rural vocational rehabilitation, deaf and hard-of-hearing, and school to work transition. Dr. Edwards has authored numerous articles and book chapters focusing on rehabilitation education, distance education, and disability issues.
