Application, Forms, & Fees

CRCC's streamlined application process allows applicants to apply for the CRCC via the "CRCCCONNECT" link on the CRCC website. Please note, based on the category you are applying under, you may need to provide additional information in the application process. Refer to the CRC Certification Guide to review the three categories. Forms required in the application process are available on this page.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Applying

To start the application process, follow the steps below:

  1. Click CRCCCONNECT (to the right of the CRC logo).
  2. If you are not a registered user, click Create an account link (below the Login button).
  3. Enter your e-mail address. Click Search.
  4. If your e-mail address is in the system, please follow the prompts to begin your application.
  5. If your e-mail address is not found in the system, you'll be prompted to click the Register Now button.
  6. You can begin the application process by entering your personal information. We recommend you enter your personal e-mail addresses rather than using your student e-mail address or work e-mail as your primary address. Your phone number should not include any dashes.
  7. The next step may prompt you to validate your address and click the Save button.
  8. You'll be returned to your personal information page. Click the Save button.
  9. Your username is your primary e-mail address.
  10. You will be prompted to create a password. Click the Save button.
  11. On the next page, click the Done button.
  12. You will be on your account page.
  13. In the upper-right hand corner, in the My CRCC Links, click the Apply for CRC Certification Exam link.
  14. You will be in the application. Read each question and respond accordingly. You cannot go back to previous pages in the application.

Additional Required Information and Forms

You will need to upload additional information to complete your application. CRCC recommends downloading the required forms for the category in which you plan to apply. Completed forms must include the appropriate signatures. When you have the completed form(s), simply save them to your computer desktop and upload them as you complete the application.

Incomplete applications will result in a delay in determining eligibility and may delay the applicant's ability to test in the cycle requested.

Category 1 - Student in a CACREP-Accredited Program

Student Status Verification Form (must include signature of your faculty advisor)

Category 2 - Student in or Graduate of a Non-CACREP Accredited Program

Course Syllabi (upload your course syllabi when you apply)

Internship Verification Form (must include your supervisor's signature)

Students ONLY: Student Status Verification Form (must include your faculty advisor's signature)

Category 3 - Graduate of a Master's or Doctoral Program in a Related Field of Study

Course Syllabi (upload your course syllabi when you apply). Please note: internships and practicum courses may not be used as evidence of completing or teaching courses.

One of the following forms must be submitted with your application:

Internship Verification Form (must include your supervisor's signature)

Educator Employment Verification Form (must include your supervisor's or employer's signature)

Employment and/or Supervision Verification Form (must include your supervisor's or employer's signature)

Self-Employment Verification Form (must include the signature of a purchaser of your services)

Test Accommodations Request

All applicants requesting test accommodations must complete the Test Accommodations Request during the application process. Upload the required supporting documentation within the application. All requests for exam accommodations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis without penalty.

The application fee for all application categories is $410. The fee covers both application and examination fees. Applicants deemed ineligible to sit for the exam will receive a refund of $100.
