Michelle McKnight-Lizotte


Dr. McKnight-Lizotte graduated from Georgia State University with a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling. In her position at the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) in Colorado Springs, Michelle’s caseload was primarily made up of transition-aged youths and individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Dr. McKnight-Lizotte left Colorado DVR to earn her doctorate in rehabilitation counselor education at Michigan State University. While attending MSU, she consulted with Michigan Rehabilitation Services specifically on cases regarding individuals with ASD. She now is an assistant professor at the University of Idaho - Coeur d’Alene in the Rehabilitation Counseling Program.
