Renata has been dedicated to the field of social services for three decades and has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 2002. She earned degrees at the University of Oregon and Western Oregon University, and completed the Emerging Leaders Series through the University of Washington. She has also provided clinical supervision for several graduate students in various Rehabilitation Counseling programs. Renata was appointed by successive Oregon governors to serve on the State Rehabilitation Council as a counselor representative for Vocational Rehabilitation. During her tenure she was a member of the Program Effectiveness Committee and Chaired the Policy Committee. She is an active participant in her community and has served in leadership roles for numerous non-profit organizations and service clubs.
