Stephanie is currently an instructor and the clinical practicum and internship coordinator for the Master’s Counseling program at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She is also a doctoral candidate in counseling at the University of Memphis. Prior to this, Stephanie worked in the private, non-profit sector for 25 years and has been a CRC since 1991. Her previous career focused on creating innovative opportunities for community integration, competitive employment, and improving quality of life for people with disabilities. Additionally, Stephanie worked as an online adjunct instructor for Arkansas State University at Newport. She co-edited Arkansas’ first statewide newsletter highlighting employees with disabilities, and she served as the president for the Tennessee Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. She has been recognized as an outstanding graduate student, an emerging leader, and for her community/civic work. Her research interests include spiritual and religious coping, diversity, and counseling ethics.
