Treye Rosenberger is a first year Doctoral Student in Counselor Education and Supervision at The University of Iowa. Treye earned his Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from The University of Iowa in May 2018. Treye’s current research investigates quality of life disparities, societal barriers and identity development in marginalized groups, with emphasis on members of the LGBT community. As a former Dr. Ted Daniels’ Scholarship Recipient, Treye’s passion lies with increasing cultural competency in his community. His background includes providing crisis counseling in the surrounding community. Though his practicum and internship experiences, he has worked with first college students and has provided job placement services for people with disabilities.
